My name is Mike and I'm looking for someone to connect with. I'm currently incarcerated at Centralia Correctional Center in Illinois. As a teacher's assistant in our academic building, I spend most days helping people prep to earn their GED’s. I'm currently working on earning my paralegal certification and I love studying business. I've been learning Spanish as well and I'm fairly conversational with it.

For fun I spend a lot of time playing cards or Dominoes with my buddies, working out or reading. I'm fairly nerdy and enjoy reading fantasy and more recently sci-fi books.

Watching movies is something I also really enjoy doing. I'd have to say, horror, thriller and action are my favorite genres. In 2023 I started taking my health more seriously. I started dieting and lifting weights and I’ve lost over 50 lbs so far.

I'm really looking for someone to write to and be friends with. If it does grow into something more than that would be amazing, but my main goal here is to find someone to have fun and exciting conversations with.

I've made some mistakes in my past that have landed me where I'm at now; however, I try to learn from my mistakes and grow to be a better man everyday.
