My name is Carlos Gonzales and I was born on March 19, 1969, in La Ceiba, Honduras/of Salvadorean blood. I am serving a 35 yrs. to life sentence, since 1995. I recently had my first board appearance, and I was denied 3 years for lack of insight into my crime of murder, in the first degree. I am preparing myself as much as I can to be successful next time I go. I definitely need to put myself back to where I belong and be of service to society after all the harm that I have caused.

For the most part of my sentence, I have led a very secluded life-not wanting to write to anyone, but I think it's time to feel human again, and share, and open up to someone who can relate to my goals and ideas. I definitely command a good English-but my natural language is Spanish.

It's been 27 long years, and I hope someone out there finds the time and motivation, to explore what could be an unexpected but also an interesting friendship. Please write.
