11/10/09 - I am a UK based writer who has been asked to research and write an article about people who find love with prisoners on death row. The prisoners may be male or female, so may the pen pals.
The magazine is looking for people who started out befriending prisoners as pen pals and then found the friendship developed into something more. Perhaps you have even married your loved one and want to tell the world about it. Maybe you have sadly now lost the love of your life. Maybe you are standing by your loved one who became incarcerated during your life together.
I would be happy to hear from anybody who may be even vaguely interested in paying a tribute to their loved one through an article. While it is evident from past press coverage there are less than responsible journalists around who seek to exploit people - I guarantee that there will be no expectation of any commitment from you if you just want to find out a bit more about what we are intending.

09/14/09 - Hello, I am writing from a television production company called WBMC based in Perth. We are a production company with a proven record of high-end factual film making. We are currently researching a new series for the SBS channel in Australia. We are presently in the early stages of making a three part factual documentary series which will investigate falling in love/building relationships in which a difficult barrier has been overcome. There will be a number of stories which will run throughout the series, but one element we are hoping to feature is someone who has found love/companionship and overcome the barrier of being in prison.
An important part of the series is to find people in this situation, who might want to share their story. I am currently looking to find Australians who may be in some kind of relationship with a partner who is in prison. I am very keen to hear from any Australians or those in a relationship with Australians to be interested in hearing more about the series and the possibility of becoming involved.
I understand that television might seem slightly daunting and this is a delicate topic, but at this early stage it would be great to just to hear back from anyone with Australian links with your thoughts on if you might be open to this opportunity.

09/01/09 - We are a television company looking to make a documentary series about ladies who are romantically involved with men on Death Row in the U.S.
Are you tired of one-sided documentaries that portray prisoners’ loved ones as unintelligent and mad? We are hoping to share the real stories of women who meet and fall in love with men who happen to be in prison. These will be NON-judgmental programmes, allowing the woman to tell her own story. We would also like to interview your partner/husband. We are a very small team and will take you to visit your loved one. We’ve already completed one programme and our interviewee is happy to tell you about her experience with us and the programme.
