My name is Luther Casteel, but everyone calls me “Luke”. I was born on July 4th in Tennessee, but lived in Chicago from age 7. Chicago is my home town and I love the cultural diversity, the lakefront, the live music in the nightclubs, the restaurants, ect.

I have a great sense of humor and I'm always laughing and joking with my friends. I am basically a down-to-earth guy and I'm willing to help others when I can. I enjoy meeting new people and I never judge anyone because of their race, politics, sexuality, ect. Everyone is welcome to write to me. I also love dogs and have always had at least one.

I've done all sorts of work in my life and I have a bachelor's of Science degree along with several vocational certifications. I also read, write and speak very fluent Spanish.

I'm a former death row inmate but my sentence was commuted to life in prison by outgoing Governor Ryan in 2003. In here I workout with weights, I draw and paint, read, listen to music and I watch the news daily to stay current with the world.
