Hi! My name is Jared and I have been incarcerated since 2023 and I have three more years left to serve. I am from Carlisle, IA  and am currently at the Fort Dodge Correctional Facility.

During my time here, I have participated in self-help groups to discover who I am as a person, what I want in life and what I want to do in the future. I have also found exercise to be a very successful from a stress release and have enjoyed the camaraderie that comes along with it as well. I played baseball in college while obtaining my Associates of Arts degree and I also have two children. My children play a big role in my life and my parents are able to bring them up once a month for visits.

Upon my release I plan to continue my job as a heavy equipment mechanic. I am a very humble, positive and outgoing person that really enjoys making people happy and smile. I really enjoy outdoor activities and working with my hands. I love to go camping, boating, hunting and fishing. I have always loved to travel and I plan to do more of that when I get home.
