Hello all, I'm james. I am a 49-year old male from upstate New York in Albany/Troy area currently serving A year in Connecticut. I am looking for donations, legal help and friends to write to. I was recently baptized in jail and have turned my life over to God. I was an addict on and off for more than half my life. I have been drug and alcohol-free for over a year. I go to meetings as often as I can and plan to continue my recovery when I am released as well as becoming a recovery coach and then a counselor. I am a union roofer by trade and will continue with that for I am only a few short years away from my full pension.

I have a great support system of friends and family on the outside including my ex-wife  and three grown step kids, who have been by my side, for that I am grateful.
