My name is Jett Adam. I am 25 years old and am originally from Kansas City, Missouri.

My hobbies used to be mechanics and street racing as well as an interest in weightlifting and the stock market.

I am currently serving a life sentence in Wyoming for an attempted murder charge. I was in a shootout with police on February 19, 2021 after being pulled over for a speeding ticket. I received 9 charges for that event. I went to trial with a defense of mental illness. I lost and all my charges were maxed out which led to a life sentence.

I am incarcerated at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution. I am currently on appeal and have been my own attorney for about two years now. I was denied a psychiatrist at trial and on appeal. I won on that issue. I expect to be here for about 6 months before being sent back to jail for a new trial or release.

I am looking for a friend. A connection. A way to remind myself that there is someone that cares out there and that I am not alone.

I have high hopes for the future. I don't know what is ahead but I believe that I will be free again and look forward to sharing my journey going forward with another genuine caring person.
