Who wants to smile?
Hello,
How are you? My friends call me Bill. I am 45 years old and am serving a 30-life sentence for a crime I severely regret. I see parole in less than 4 years in April 2028 and I'm very hopeful my parole date comes then.

I'm a single, straight man with a big heart. I'm searching for a good female friend to build a friendship to last past when I'm released. I'm a very honest and kind, humble and sentimental man. I live my life the very best I can as stress-free as possible. I don't try to dwell on any anger or negativity of any kind. I believe in treating others with true kindness and respect. I keep an open, non judgmental ear. I am a true friend to the end. Life is way too short to be mean, aggressive or filled with anger. I am happiest when I'm putting smiles on others' faces. If you ever need to vent, I'll be there. I know pain and will do all I can to help you through your own.

As you can see, I love to draw. It is one of my positive outlets. I express my love and joy through my own handmade cards and drawings. I also love to write and hope you will too. I answer everything you discuss and ask. It's rude to ignore others' thoughts.

I grew up in the woods and swamps of South Jersey. I am a country boy always. We are raised to show manners and respect and to work for what we have. Respect is earned, not given. Being humble will gain you the most.

I've worked hard over these years to improve myself and be on a positive path to freedom. Currently I've earned enough trust to basically have a trustee level job working in one of the prison's visit halls. It's where they have classification, administrative, legal, parole and psych appointments and a few classes here and there. I may soon be allowed to get full minivans status and go to the camps. That was something unforeseen to me many years ago. I often find myself mentoring guys who are stressed by everything prison tends to offer. That's only what you allow it to be so. I've taken many classes and let go of tons to get where I am today. Nothing past or present gets me out of my joy anymore. I love my family, both blood and extended, and they love me.They all notice the positive turn around I've made in recent years. This is why I know I am fully ready to meet a good female friend. Hopefully I can make and keep a smile on your face!

You may prefer electronic correspondence. Currently ours is JPay. It will soon become ViaPath in the next year or so. It's quicker and cheaper than traditional mail.
