Hey Everyone!
How are you? I hope you're doing fine and all is well. I'm happy to have found Prison Pen Pals, where I can meet new people. I've been incarcerated for the past 18 years. I'm a strong believer in God's timing, purpose and plan for all of us. Even when we don't understand exactly what he's doing. A lot of beautiful things are happening (or are about to happen) in my life and I want to surround myself with positive people.

Considering the fact that we're here, I assume you're looking for new “potential” friendships/relationships. Or perhaps you're in hopes of finding something special, different; because I'm looking for the same.

My name is “I-Be''. Originally, I'm from Asbury Park, New Jersey, though I lived in Camden prior to my incarceration. In 2016, I transferred to Maine to take advantage of more opportunities to do my time productively. Already, I've completed classes in Business Basics and writing; I'm a tutor, mentor, classified recovery coach, program facilitator to other prisoners (where I teach weekly classes with the facility); and I'm in the process of writing a book. Note: I’m featured in a book titled “God's Love Kept Me Fighting” which is scheduled to be released on Amazon within the next few months (a great source of information to learn more about me). I'm also entertaining the idea of me getting serious with writing music and releasing a complete album from here. MSP has a recording studio run by prisoners, for the prisoners.

Before closing, here's one of the most beautiful things happening at the moment: Next year, I have an appeal being heard by the courts and if it goes as I'm being told it will, my prison sentence will be reduced significantly. A resentencing can have me released in only six more years.
