My name is Abdi Awad, but everyone calls me Lalee. I am someone who likes connecting with people. I enjoy art (painting, poetry, music,etc.). I have been incarcerated for 13 years and my earliest release is now about six years. In prison, I have prioritized self-growth and helping others. I earned my AA, BA and master's degrees while incarcerated. Now I am looking to apply to a PhD program. I am also a yoga instructor, palliative and hospice care volunteer, restorative justice practitioner/consuhart, mentor and many other things.

I am looking for someone to connect with who is open-minded and not afraid of new experiences and willing to get to  know new people (me). Ideally, a woman I have been around men everyday for the last 13 years of my life and I need some women energy.
